Structure

In terms of leadership, the Ministry is at political level, headed by a Cabinet Minister who is assisted by a Deputy Minister. At technical level, a Permanent Secretary is the head and is assisted by Directors of various departments.

The Ministry is organised into five Departments and one Unit and these are as follows:

• Human Resources and Administration;
• Labour Department;
• Social Security Department;
• National Productivity Development Department;
• Occupational Safety and Health Department ; and
• Planning Unit
