In a proud moment of democracy and union solidarity, the Acting Labour Commissioner, Mr. Chola Kabaso, announced the duly elected members of the University of Zambia Lecturers and Researchers Union (UNZALARU) National Executive Committee following a transparent and peaceful election process.
The event, presided over by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, took place at the Mulungushi International Conference Center on 22nd November 2024 and was marked by enthusiasm, unity, and hope for the future.
The Ministry commended UNZALARU for its exemplary conduct, emphasizing the importance of social dialogue and democratic principles in strengthening labour relations in Zambia.
The newly elected leaders are now tasked with championing the rights and welfare of their members, advancing professional growth, and addressing challenges head-on.
